Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

After a final divorce hearing in front of a general magistrate, when does the 10-day exception/objection period begin - as soon as the hearing is over (that day), or the date the magistrate's recommendation document is mailed/served?

Neither party waived the objection period and one party was absent from the hearing.

Just trying to figure out when this period will expire since we aren't sure when it officially started. Once it's over, do the judges have to sign the final order within a certain number of days?

The 10 days starts from the date of service of the Magistrates report.

the 10 days begins to run from the date the order is stamped by the judge, if you want to file exceptions you should retain counsel, it is complex.

Use of a lawyer is recommended.
