Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Fl child support states pay until child is 18 and high school grad. Child was living with his mother. However, he turned 18, and moved out of his mothers house - well, was kicked out actually. He has moved to Georgia with friends. Given his mother is not supporting him anymore, and he's not with any family whatsoever (to pay them for his support). Can I cease child support payments.

Yes, you may cease support, and you should file a motion to modify support.

You should not cease support payments until you have gone though the process of filing a motion to modify the current child support award.
