Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

In Florida; I had a motion for contempt for back child support against my ew-wife. She filed a motion to dismiss which was granted w/o predjudice. I believe she may make me an offer. How long do I have to accept or reject her offer?

There are no general legally mandated length of time to accept an offer. If she is making you an offer then she will normally set the time for response. I would advise that you ask for the offer to be in writing and that you share the offer with a local family law attorney.

It is not open forever, most likely 30 day limit if not specifically mentioned in her offer. Also it should be in writing. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659
