what happen if my spouse doe not show up at the GENERAL MAGISTRATE on our appointment date?

The General Magistrate could continue the hearing to give your spouse another opportunity to appear (in case there was an emergency that stopped him from attending the hearing). If he fails to appear at the second hearing, the General Magistrate may not be so understanding.
