Do I need to hire an attorney within the same county to which the plaintiff filed? It is involving child visitation and most likely custody will arise from it. Also, is there any type of legal service available at little to no cost?

No. Any attorney licensed in Florida can represent you in any county. You can contact your local legal aid society to see if you qualify for low or no cost legal services.
