Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I hired an attourney in my family law case. I have not been contacted in over a year as was curious if there is some way I can get them for a breach of contract and recoop some of my retainer fees.

Well, first, why don't you call them and ask them what's going on? Once you know that, then you can get your file and determine if malpractice has been committed.

contact the attorney first to resolve the issue. If no response contact the Florida Bar Association and make a complaint.
