Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My kids, who will get?

My wife and I are going out of the country for a trip. My kids are staying with family members. My question is; What do I need to assure that a particular family member gets my kids in the case that my wife and I die. I know I probably should already have a will, but I do not. Will a notorized letter hold up. We have already spoken to the family member we wish to have our kids.

Re: My kids, who will get?

A notarized letter will not do. You need to have a will drafted which can include you preference for a guardian for your children.
