Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I need legal advice, perhaps a lawyer in S.Florida. Married since Feb., 14,1999, had a son born Apr. 06,1999. Initially Father wanted me to abort, I refused had 1 prior w/him & said I will NEVER do that again, so u better get condoms. He needed sex alot, & when he brought it up I said "condom", he said oh, i'd didn't get your supposed 2 b responsible 4 that. He said he would pull out(pls excuse the detail!), but I did in fact become preg., & he harrased me 2 the point I moved in w/ Mother, I felt the stress could cause me to abort. In 2002, I was diag. Bi-Polar,ADD. Son diag. same year/he was 4!! Husband denied I had illness claimed I just did'nt want to work!! I asked over & over to come to Dr visit w/me, refused, when things started getting worse, son got IEP/School, recommended family counseling, refused to go. Husband is Alcoholic, drunk every single day has been arrested DUI countles times Fl & TX, only chged 2-3 X as he refuses breathalizer, attny gets him off, $15,000.00 per. approx. 2-3 yrs after my diag. he took name & debit card from bank, as I would spen money when manic. Understand, but after another 2 yrs approx., began withholding $ from me, lying/or keeping me in dark as to what he made. He is extremely controlling, due to my extensive yrs of psych. reasearch, I feel that he is text book Narcissist. states he refuses to attend counseling as what could they tell him he doesn"t already know. I recently found alot of info re; his arrests, money that hes hidden, commited adaultery countless X's, forged my name to buy car as his license revoked 5 yrs for last DUI, lied on a retirement/IRA form in 2002, stateing he was single, not married, and had no one else he wanted assets to go 2, he's verbally abusive, extremely critical, mad at me for being ill, states how can u be ill now when you weren"t before??!!, last time we spoke b 4 he left family home, due to my trying (for 3 hours) to correct a fraudulent charge on my debit card(inheiritance from Father), they would'nt help me & bank could'nt remove chgs, due to this I was unable to purchase meds for illness day b-4, obviously I was upset, and raised my voice, husb., came 2 me complaining that I was upseting him, having trouble hearing his movie!! I explained what happened & said anyone would be upset after what I have been thru! He said thats it i'm done & outta here.left stayed on his boat, hasn't worked since Feb.,Jan.?, yet has boat, paid $9,000. in bills few days prior, I find this retirement form went from approx worth $2,000. & up to near $100,000.00 in Apr. this year, also paid off old bills $17.000.00.,But he refused to help me pay for medication, I have no money he said. The stress he has caused me, due to Bi polar put in in manic episodes time & time again, & illness has worsened 10 fold over the years. Also absentee Father, never home says he can"t stand our illness & moods we can't control, never ever was emotionally supportive in any way shape or form. Doesn"t really know son, who fears him, as he has no patience, & threatens him with spanking in public places on more than 1 occation which severely embarrases & shames any child especially an emotionally ill 1!!! I could go on, but hopefully thats enough to understand my predicament.Although we are in a home/same now, when bills come due, husband won't pay, we won't have elec., phone, etc. I am desperate!!! Also tried 2 get ssd 3 times, each time refused!! Thx for your time & appologise for going on so, but was asked for additional info, got carried away!!

It appears that clearly something needs to be done to help you with your financial predicament (and to get you and your child out of this emotionally harmful situation). Support from a present spouse is possible, so that may be the best course. However, without knowing all the facts and what you really want to happen at the end of the day, it's very difficult to more fully counsel you. I'd suggest you look into hiring a lawyer who can help you. Feel free to visit our website as listed below and if you'd like to discuss things further please don't hesitate to reach out to our firm.
