Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been married for 26 years and separated almost a year. We have 2 boys one is 26 and the other one is 18. we have a small corporation, (50% for each). My husband was cheating on me at the end of february of 2010, 2 weeks later told me that he didn't want to live with me any more and on April moved out of the house. We still working together, trying to survive this economy. I haven't been able to pay my mortgage for almost 8 months. I can't buy his 50% and he can't buy mine. We have no savings at all and this is my only way to get some money to survive. I am 53 years old and I haven't been able to get a part time job. I found out that he is doing job where they pay him cash and he is saving that money for him. Can you let me know what documents do I need to collect because he wants to get divorce. He still going out with that woman and she has been harrasing me for almost a year unfourtunately I have no proof.

Is there any equity in the marital home?

Are either of your adult children disabled?

About how much money is he making at his side job?

If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

The above information is provided without any consideration/payment having been received, and without full knowledge of all of the facts.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.
