Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Marrying a man who pays child support

I am marrying a man who pays child support. Once we are married, can his ex wife take him back to court for more child support using my additional household income as a basis for increased child support. If so, is there anyway to avoid my income being included in the overall sum in which they calculate a certain percentage for child support?

No. Your income is not included and is never a factor is determining child support unless it can be shown that his earned income is actually being paid in your name.
