Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Mother died leaving a credit card with a $5000 balance. I was her POA and could sign on the credit card and did regularly, because she was unable to sign her name or write due to physical challenges. She died with no assets so there is no money to pay this CC. Am I responsible to repay this debt and if I don't pay it will it impact my credit rating?

Her estate is liable for her debts, not you. And it sounds like her estate doesn't have any assets to pay with.
