Yes, you may file in Kansas. However, if you have been living in Florida for at least 6 months, you would need to file it here. For assistance, please call my office at 1-800-408-5818.

You can file in Florida as long as you have been a resident for at least six (6) months.

If he is a resident of Kansas, then you probably can file there. However, as I am not licensed to practice in Kansas, as to that issue, I will defer to members of the Kansas Bar.
