i have been ordered to pay my wife 50 % of 401k. I am filing pro se. I asked the plan admin for sample letters now not sure what I am supposed to do. Do I just mail all the sample letters to the court?

The Order that breaks up the 401k has to be a specific order approved by the Plan Administrator for your company plus the Court. 100% you need a lawyer to handle this.
