what happens when a POA disappears? my mother has a poa and as soon as all her money is gone, we can not get in contact with the poa anymore. what can I do?

Sounds to me your mother has passed away and you are allowing someone who HAD poa to handle her affairs. When your mother died the POA is NO longer valid. If that is not what is happening then explain more.
