Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Pressing charges against collector of child support

The collector of child support keeps opening new cases in different states, and personally submitting withholding orders with an amount that is different than the court order. Can charges be brought against her and can some sort of court injuction or order stop her from doing this over and over? My husband is in the military and it is very difficult to keep having to untangle the mess she makes. He constantly has to keep out of legal trouble with his employer, other states, and the state the case is in. All the while he is abiding exactly by the court order but constantly having to prove himself due to her constant shady actions.

I would concider contempt of court motion in the court that made the child support order. I can't imagine the judge would be preased to hear of her shinanigans.

You husband should contact the base legal department and request assistance. Since his is in the military the Jones act, a federal statute controling law suits against members of the military. The facts you provided indicate that she is obtaining child support orders from the courts in various states without giving him notice. The US attorney has jurisdiction over interstate child support payments.
