Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Removal of a Permanent Allimony

I was assigned in my divorce decree a permanent allimony of $900.00 till death of any of the parties.

My economical situation has changed dramatically and I am not able to continue with this burden.

If I contact a lawyer will I be able to remove this allimony, what happens to me if I can't continue making the payments until an appeal is made?
