Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Can I request a new mediation?

I have gone through mediation and feel like I was pressured by both my attorney and the mediator and I agreed to things I am not happy with. Can I request another mediation?

Re: Can I request a new mediation?

No, that is a normal part of the mediation process. They pressured you to be reasonable and settle for a fair and equitable resolution of the lawsuit. If you signed a settlement agreement (which I assume you did), then you can't request a "do over" and ask for a new mediation. In the legal field, we call what you are experiencing "buyer's remorse". It is fairly common, but is not grounds for a new mediation.
