Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I separated from my ex in 2014 for abuse went to court and all that but he never signed our dissolution of marriage now it’s 6 years later I haven’t spoken or seen him since the domestic abuse case I have no idea where he is in the country last I heard he was in a different state what can I do to no longer legally be his wife? I just want this nightmare over.

You may be able to file for divorce in the city you live in-though it may need to be filed in the city where you last lived together. Fla. laws provide steps for you to publish the notice of the action-wait a proscribed time-then get a default judgment.
