Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Separation VS. Divorce

I would like to know what the difference is between a Legal Separation and a Divorce. Would a legal separation allow for dating or are you still attached to your spouse in that respect? What about bills and assets, are they split like a divorce? And fees, is it cheaper?
