Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

sole custody of children

My sister-in-law wants to know how to obtain sole custody of her children. The father of the three was residing with them in her mother's home and has been unable to hold a job or support the children financially since the oldest, who is about to turn four years, was born. He has a criminal record and has threatened to run off with the children on multiple occasions. What is the best way for a non-married mother to legally obtain full custody of her minor children?

Re: sole custody of children

Hiring and attorney and filing a paternity or custody case so that she may obtain an order from the judge that states what her custody is. Contact our firm if you need further assistance for a telephonic or in person consultation.
