Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am waiting for a simplified dissolution of marriage court date in the State of Florida. I have put an offer to purchace a home and thought that the divorce would be final prior to closing. What can I do if the divorce is not final prior to closing? How can I speed the process of the simplified divorce (it has been 4 weeks since filing)?

The mortgage company told me that I might need my soon to be ex to sign some papers if the divorce is not final. Quit claim?? Power of attorney??

We have sold the marital home and closing is in a couple of weeks, trying to buy a home so I have a place to live after divorce is final.

If your twenty days are up for the waiting period, ask for a hearing date and proceed. Otherwise, you will have to have your ex to be sign the papers as per the lender.
