Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

family leave with salary continuation

I am appealing the decision to deny me salary continuation with my family leave due to depression. What can I state to have them approve the salary continuation. The psychologist submitted paperwork about my depression but hey felt that I was still able to work. I was of work for 4 weeks. The family leave was approved but not the salary continuation.

It depends on your company's policy and your contract. Under the FMLA you don't get a pay guarantee. If the doctors say you can work, then it is tough to justify why you should get paid for not working.
