Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida
family medical leave act
Does my employer have to pay me for a family medical leave act, IF, I need to be out to to take care of my mom, due to the death of my brother? I have 214 hours accrued in sick leave also.

An employer does not have to pay for time off taken under the FMLA, however, the employer may make you use your sick and vacation time at the same time your are out under FMLA. Go to www.dol.gov for more info.
