Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

I was getting chemo while on FMLA. I was still getting chemo when I received a letter from my employer that I had voluntarily resigned from my position as of the date of the date of the expiration of the leave act. Is that legal?

Unfortunately, yes. Once the leave expires, your protection ceases if the employer needs to fill the position.
