My pregnant daughter is on bed rest. She has a toddler. Can I use FMLA to help

The answer is maybe. It depends on several factors, including whether you and your employer qualify, and whether your daughter's doctor has indicated that she needs assistance, and is there anyone else who is better suited.

FMLA is fairly generous in its allowances, but many employers are not educated sufficiently on the qualifications, requirements and benefits. If you work for a larger company that has an HR department you could ask for a copy of their FMLA information packet, or you can do some research on the subject by going to the US Department of Labor's website.
