Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Breach of Barter Contract

I know I will win in small claims court, however, will the other party be required to fulfill his barter services per the contract or pay me the monies outstanding still owed to me? This person took my services with the intention of never fulfilling his side of the barter.

Re: Breach of Barter Contract

Almost always, the other side is required to pay you the value of your services, not perform what they were supposed to perform. The only exception to the rule is when it is absolutely impossible for money to make up for performance, such as when the job can't possibly be completed by anyone else.
