Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Car Matter!!!

I took over a car thats still in my cousin name last year in June. We both signed promissary notes that say i take full responsibility of the car like its my own eventho its still in her name. At this time i want another car so i was goin to get the car in my name and trade it in. She called me and said she wanted the car back. Im fine with giving her the car back but she want me to give her two thousand dollars to buy and extended warranty. I feel if she want the car back and im not going to keep it for myself why should i give her two thousand dollars for a warranty for a car thats not mine. Now she want to take me to court for not giving her the money for a new warranty on the car. My question is can she do that?

Re: Car Matter!!!

I'm not even sure I understand the question. Why would she think she can force you to pay $2,000? Sounds like you should just give her the car back and call it a day.
