Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Contract Cell phone termination

I've been battling Alltell for 5 monts over a billing mistake. During this time I was told April bill was taken care of and May was a partial payment. They are now telling me the past due amount is 496.57. Can I drop this company with out damageing recourse from them. I have a two year contract with 44 months left. I'm not worried about the credit hit but can't afford to pay this if I switch cell phone providers

Re: Contract Cell phone termination

Sure, you can drop them, but realize that they could sue you for it one day. Also remember not to switch to Verizon, since Verizon is buying Alltel.
