Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Credit Card refund

In July 8, 2003 I was given an opportunity to get a Credit Card and told there was a fee of $187.00. It was deducted from my account and when I received their package it wasn't something I wanted to get into. Due to their fees and so on. I sent back their package what was to do if a person wasn't interested. They received it in October of 2003. It was supposed to take 10-12 weeks after that date to receive a refund. It is now June 16, 2004 and I have been told since February 4, 2004 that my refund has already been processed. No one from that company has contacted me in regards to my refund and or messages left to call me back. In this case what should or can I do?

Re: Credit Card refund

You can start by filing a complaint with the Divison of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, I would start writing the credit card company letters in order to start a paper trail. Additionally, I recommend speaking with an attorney in your area regarding other options.
