The Obama administration has passed the "Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act." This took effect on May 20, 2009. This act permits bonifide tenants to stay until the expiration of the lease, or if no lease, 90 days after a notice to vacate. I suggest you see an attorney in your area to help you with this or go to the court and request a "Notice of Tenancy." Want to know the law?
