Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I am in GA. I was dogsitting for a friend. A server dropped a summons at my feet. I gave an affadavit stating this but when my friends attorney went to oral arguments the judge asked that I be deposed. I am in GA. The case is in Miami. Do I have to go there to be deposed or do the plantiffs atty have to come here?

They must go to Georgia. Suggest taking a video deposition to avoid travel..
