homeowners
my mother and i own a home together. she has been living there on her own for the last 4 years. i moved out, and i would like to move back in. she claims i have to pay half of the mortgage payments for the last 4 years before i can move back in. and also would have to come up with half of the repair money she put out while i was not living there.

You have the absolute right to move back into the home if you are a joint owner with your mother. She has no right to keep you out of it. She may have some claim against you for failing to contribute to the mortgage and repairs for the previous 4 years, but that is a matter for a court to decide and not her.

No, you get to move back in but she can go to court to make you pay your share.
