Legal cintract from divorce proceeding

have a legal contract that was entered between me & my x fatherin law in 2004, my x husband is on ss disability, his fater legaaly signed a contract with me to pay me $125 a month in support for my child, however he has not paid me a dime since 4/04, what court do I take him to to get my money & all monies in the future until he is 18 as the contract states? Is it civil court or family court? what papers do I file as I would like to do this by myself? we all reside in Florida. Also, can i also get interest on this money? Thank you

Sue him in County Court for breach of contract. If you have a good clear contract, you probably do not need a lawyer. Your biggest hurdle is whether there was consideration for the contract (i.e. what did he get out of it).
