Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I live in Florida and i am having SO many problems with child support finding my son's father. in my opinion, child support does absolutely NOTHING. if you as the custodial parent don't do the footwork, you get nothing! Zilch! And this is NOT how the Florida Child support website makes it seem, they make it seem on their website that they REALLY work to help you. They don't. Now as i'm getting deeper into things, i'm finding out SO much more that they DON'T do. i was under the impression that if my son's father's license is suspended and there is an arrest warrant out for him, that this will be in effect ANY where he may go, i'm now being told by a rep this isn't true. I was also under the impression that "searches" that child support does are nationwide, now i'm being told by the same rep that it's only in Florida! No wonder SO many fathers are skipping from state to state, anywhere they go they're pretty much in the clear, because of course they're going to keep a low profile(duh!). i'm ready to write to the government and start a petition, there needs to be some changes with the child support system over all. But before i do, my question is.........do these warrants and license suspension carry over from state to state? and isn't child support supposed to a nationwide search for these deadbeat parents?? please tell me what i've been informed is incorrect.

Signed,

Hopeful :0)

It is not as simple as you present it. There is no nationwide suspension as you state it. Chiled support can be enforced, but for the state to do it for free takes tax payers money and there is a shortage there. You can hire a lawyer, but that can be expensive. The state will get around to it, but it takes a long time.
