Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I put a motorcycle in a repair shop because of a bad clutch. After delays, cost hikes, etc. my bike was returned with NO engine oil (Ididn't know), and a shifting problem. I returned bike and was told everything's fine.Drove minimally, 2 or 3 miles at a time, and checked oil, filled, and went back to shop and complained. Being as bike was running, I thought it was no big deal, within 40 miles bike was kaput.New owner of bussiness said he'd make it right and I left the bike for months paying agreed amount for parts and labor. After much complaining about delays the bike disappeared, I was informed that he had sent it to a more experienced mechanic and it would soon be right. After a month I located bike in next county almost completed, and was told they had only been paid a minamal fee and would do nothing more until they were provided promised parts and pay. I certainly understand their position.I called the police and was told it is a civil matter (no fraud?) and was on my own. what can I do ?
