Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I recently bought a used car. I paid cash up front. A few hours after I drove off the lot, the car broke down. The dealer fixed it for free; however, there were other problems that he didn't tell us about. They didn't become apparent right away. I took the car to my mechanic, who said the problems weren't worth fixing. I went back to the dealer and talked to him. He refused to refund my money, or trade in for another vehicle. He did offer to fix the problems, but not for free. Is there anything I can do to get my money back?

See a consumer lawyer in your area. These are very tough cases since these vehicles are sold as is and usually carry no warranty. Look for an odometer violation or something else. To find a consumer lawyer in your area, see my website for the NACA website. See my article on buying a used car also.
