Recently i let my x-girlfriend stay the night and when the next morning came and i had to leave i left her in bed and went to do what i had to do but when i got back home she had left and she stole all my money (around$3700.00)she had gotten in my safe and clean me out! She had no permission to do any such a thing! What do i have to do to get her in court to sue for my money be returned

It sounds like the first step would be to contact law enforcement since this is a crime. The state would seek restitution when resolving the case. You can also sue civilly for theft. Because of the value this would be a small claims action.

You can sue in small claims court. Collection of the sums due will be the issue AND proving she actually took it.
