Do I have any recourse if a car dealership divulges my credit situation to another customer?

Yes, credit information is confidential, and unless you authorized this information to be revealed to another party the dealership has no reason to pass on your personal credit information. You will need to provide more information for an attorney to counsel you on the next step, so that your attorney can apply the law to the specific facts of your case.
