Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

If I register a vehicle in my wife's name, and put the insurance on a different policy than mine, totally in her name, and she gets in an accident, can they come after me if there are injuries involved?

If you were the driver at the time of the accident, yes. If you were not driving, then it appears that there is no connection between you and the vehicle. It is not owned by you, and the insurance covering it is not in your name. There would have to be some connection between you and the vehicle in order for you to be liable.
