Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I was in a relationship with a girl online, we broke up, and I have been trying to figure out what went wrong between us. She has become very impatient and intolerant with me and has threatened to report me for harassment if I don't stop sending her messages. I was so upset at the time I read the message that I sent her another message asking her why she was doing this. Then I sent her another one telling her that I would stop sending her messages forever.

In essence, am I still in trouble even though I messaged her after she threatened to report me for harassment? I mean, I already told her I would stop ... even though it was after she told me to stop. By the way, she lives in a different state, so I don't know how it will work.

I would strongly recommend you immediately stop sending her messsages. Stalking, under Florida law, is essentially repeated unwanted contact, so if she does not want to have contact with you, simply stop messaging her.
