Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Who is respomsible? Who should I sue?

My neighbor asked me to keep my bull in her pasture in hopes of getting any or all of her 4 cows pregnant. I agreed. Unbeknownst to me, she gave permission to a man she knew to feed the cows in the pasture. The man drove his jeep into the pasture and said that my bull attacked his truck and he decided to shoot my bull dead. I think he could've done a few other things beside kill it. Maybe like drive around the pasture to get away. It is a 10 acre fenced pasture. Should I sue the lady that took responsibility to care for my bull while it was getting her cows pregnant or should I sue the guy who killed my bull? She did give him the okay to go in and feed the animals. I was never asked if this was okay with me. I would have fed them with pleasure. In fact I had left her a message saying I wanted to feed the animals, and wanted to know what her cows liked to eat. She told me she went away and got my message after the incident. Keep in mind, my bull was known in the neighborhood to be sweet and gentle. He didn't have horns. The sheriff was called and filed a report but wouldn't arrest the man. They said it was a civil matter. What should I do? I am devistated. He was our pet. Thank you so much.

You can sue both of them or just one of them, if you prefer.

I would sue them both, and also see if there is any insurance policy in place that can cover your loss.
