Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I was a student in Tallahassee, Florida when I got a job and had to go down to Gainesville, Florida for job training. While down there I got a ticket for running a red light and summons to court for driving on a suspended license. After the training I had to leave school due to financial problems and go home and now I can't get my license reinstated because I have to turn myself into the police in Gainesville, but I can't drive up there to do it. Is there someway I can just pay my fees through a phone, get a new court date so I can get the license then appear?

You never drive on a suspended license! You do need to surrender to the Police at the time and place specified. You may have to have someone drive you to Gainesville or tax a bus or hitchhike. Otherwise a capias will be issued, you will be arrested and a sheriff will drive you under arrest to Gainesville.

NEVER, NEVER DRIVE ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.
