Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Someone at work was talking about someone saying she heard he fit the profile of a pedophile and was a dumbass. I felt bad and went to the guy and told him that I had nothing against him and told him what was said. He wants me to type what was said....will I get in trouble for this? He wants it for documentation. This person has been talking about many staff.

I would recommend that you not get involved.

Too many people don't get involved in things they should get involved in. Frequently, people get hurt when inappropriate conduct is ignored.

If a coworker is making frequent and inappropriate comments about others at your work place, I would speak with your supervisor or the human resources people about this. I doubt that I would have gone to the person that was insulted, but would have spoken with the HR people so that they could address this clearly inappropriate conduct.
