Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida

Medical Fraud

After Having my son I sent my husband to pick up my prescription from Walgreens and was told they could not fill it due to the fact the I filled it yesterday at CVS. I do not use CVS so I called them and was told that I picked up a prescription yesterday and 2 weeks prior to that for Vicodin. I called my Dr office and advised my Dr of the what was going on and come to find out it was someone in her office calling in narcotics in my name using my insurance info and so on. I asked who it was and they stated they could not tell me but it was taking care of. Now everytime I pick up any meds at the pharmacy I have to show ID and verfiy info and only my husband or I can pick up any of my meds. What are my legal rights. I was violated this person has all my information.

Re: Medical Fraud

It is not a terrible burden to show ID. Yo can call the police to make sure that the person who did this is appropriately prosecuted.
