Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

deportation for green card holder

Hello ! I was arrested last year but not yet found guilty. The is my first time in almost 6 years living in US. The trial is coming soon and I would like some advise. I have 2 counts for grandtheft 3 degree (felony)of which one was done by me.And also 2 counts of driver license possesion (like stolen)also felony. My question is ..are those considered aggravated felonyies and will this record deport me? I did not qualify for PTI and I was offered 2 years probation in another program ... If getting deported, will that be after the probation. Also citizeship is out of the question in my case ? Thank you

Re: deportation for green card holder

Normally, theft is an aggravated felony, especially if there is a possible sentence of a year or more, otherwise it is a Crime of Moral Turpitude ("CIMT").

We would need more details as to the charges and possible sentence.

What is your status now? Assuming you are a Lawful Permanent Resident ("LPR"), you will have to first go through deportation proceedings to be deported.
