my friend had a case in immigration court in miami a few months back and went to the hearing but the case wasnt called does this mean that they dropped the charges against her. she has a lawyer but she said the lawyer isnt giving her any information. how can she know if the case is still pending (i suspect it is) or dismissed? thankyou

She can find out about the status of her case and the next hearing (court) date by calling the Immigration court 800 hotline. She needs to enter her A# to hear information about her case.
