Re: work permit

Wow, you apparently have not even married her, yet you are contemplating divorcing her and marrying another USC. Sounds to me, based on these questions, that you may be playing not only with your future bride, but possibly with a pandora's box of civil and criminal liability if your actions are as deliberate and knowing as they appear to possibly be at first glance.

Any attorney worth his or her salt likely would not touch this case before conducting thorough interviews, document review, and research regarding these potential issues. The point of same would be to establish that your future marriage is genuine and that you have not/are not committing document/marriage fraud for immigration or other purposes; subjecting yourself and/or your bride-to-be to liabilities of all sorts; and the attorney himself/herself to knowingly assisting you in perpretating same.

Words of wisdom: getting employment permission simply "aint worth" the risks and consequences (for you and others) you may be creating and facing in this case if the above doubts are accurate and correct. If they are not, then you should be prepared to prove otherwise. These would likely be questions asked by the Service, the IJ (if you are eventually referred to Removal), and maybe a US Attorney (if you are criminally prosecuted). If they are not, THEN it would be appropriate to try and address your questions.

The foregoing is not legal advice or representation or solicitation for legal employment. No pending law enforcement investigation on point is assumed.
