Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

house fire

our house burned down. the insurance company hasnt paid any living expenses(yes it is in our policy). the house burned in sept. i have tried to contact them twice and they wouldnt return my call. i contacted the insurance commission, i finally got a call two weeks ago saying that they were going to call the following week to talk numbers. they didnt but they called again to say it would be this week. im lost aggervated and dont know what i should do next. any suggestions?

Reply You need to meet with an attorney in your area to discuss the matter. You may be able to file a claim agaist your carrier. As it is a first party claim your attorney may have the right to collect the attorney fees from the insurance carrier.
