Internation Patents Question

i am looking for an issue i heard or read about a while back. it involves a pharmaceutical company in brazil, i believe, that said they were going to ignore a patent on a drug to treat HIV due to the expense of the drug and the fact that they could produce it more cheaply. can you help me find that? thank you.
