Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Florida

Website

I have a website in which information has been posted on for about a year. I just came across our competition (business) and to my surprise they have almost the exact wording on their site. Is there anything I can do about this? What legal actions can I take against this company and their owners?? Do I have a case??

Re: Website

It will depend on the content of the two websites, among other factors. The law does provide various remedies when content is duplicated, but whether one is available will depend upon the circumstances.

It depends on whether the information you have posted is protectible, and whether they engaged in copyright infringement or some other unfair practice.

You would of course need to provide more information to get a better answer than simply that you may have rights that are violated or not. Feel free to contact me.
